This 12" square end grain chopping block is hand crafted with the highest attention to quality and rich in Asian tradition which is now popular in today's kitchen . This piece is great for slicing, serving and entertaining in your home. The bamboo board will retain its natural color and won't dull fine cutlery. Finger slots make it easy to pick up. 12" x 12" x 2"Designed for a wide range of prep jobs as well as attractive serving, this square chopping block from Joyce Chen is handsome as well as highly practical. Crafted from bamboo, which is hard yet lightweight, the board features an end-grain pattern with subtle variation between the tightly joined pieces. In addition to looking good, this design helps knives retain their sharpness because the open grain absorbs cuts and then rejoins. Finished with food-safe oil and fitted with built-in finger slots, the board retains its natural color well and measures 12 by 2 by 12 inches.
